Studio SchoolPeople just love our Studio School! Those who are just discovering us are amazed at the range of choices: drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, pottery, fiber art, and design. All courses are conducted at our fully-equipped (and beautiful) HealthSouth Visual Arts Center, right across the street from the museum on Grove Avenue. The courses are designed for adult students with all levels of experience, and many are especially geared for beginners. You'll get to experience the creative process first-hand and add to your appreciation of the visual arts. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is undergoing a transformative expansion, scheduled to open on May 1, 2010. All Museum galleries will be closed as we prepare for the grand opening, but group tours of the Pauley Center, a historic building on the Museum’s campus, will be offered to adults and college students.
